"干" shaped Tower is named for its head appearance like the shape of Chinese character "干" (Gan), it is currently the most widely used tower type in single-circuit AC and DC projects. Its left and right cross-arms are symmetric as a whole, with good force transmission performance and excellent economy. It can be used as a straight-line tower, and also serve as a tension tower or angle tower in transmission lines with voltage levels of 220 kV and above.
